SOMATIC & EXPRESSIVE GRIEF THERAPY PROGRAM

The Somatic & Expressive Grief Therapy Program is an intensive grief-focused course combining somatic therapies and creative arts therapies. Somatic therapies in this program include mindful grief yoga, different styles of guided meditations, and gentle breathwork. Creative arts therapies in this program include painting, drawing, sound and vibration, music, movement, and writing.

You will be completely immersed in our full range of holistic offerings in this 12 week program, as you embark on a deep exploration of yourself, your grief, and your journey forward in life. You will learn how to shift your grief, express your grief, and evolve with your grief within a sacred safe space.

This program is designed for anyone grieving a loss in their life and will support you in understanding and processing your grief on a profoundly deeper level and discovering who you are after your loss. This program also offers a gentle and mindful style of yoga, and is suitable for all fitness levels, and for those who are new or those who currently practice yoga and meditation, all are welcome.

Additionally, you will find authentic connections with other grievers, understanding, support, healing, and unveil light in the darkness.

Melissa Lindsay - Grief Yoga and Creative Art TherapyFacilitator

Grief Facilitator: Melissa Lindsay

Melissa is a qualified Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapist and Group Facilitator, Creative Arts Therapist and Group Facilitator, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Holistic Grief Counsellor, and a certified Sound and Vibrational Healing Practitioner. She facilitates the Somatic and Expressive Grief Therapy Programs throughout Australia and internationally.

Her passion for these programs and supporting grievers in their darkest days is driven by her own grief after her husband passed and she found the elements and holistic tools of this program to be extremely powerful in her own grieving and healing process.

She provides a safe and sacred space for grievers to hold, acknowledge, and process their grief, and through her understanding, compassion, and authenticity, she allows grievers to shift and move through their grief, whilst still holding onto the love that grief carries.
