Retreat Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to be part of the Rise Through Grief Retreat. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, please take a moment to read through the following terms and conditions.

Booking and Payment

  • Full payment (or payment plan commitment) is required to secure your place on the retreat.

  • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please be sure you can attend before booking, as spaces are limited, and significant planning goes into creating this sacred space for healing.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • In the event that you are unable to attend, your payment cannot be refunded. This policy is in place due to the nature of retreat planning, accommodation commitments, and the intimate group size.

  • If for any reason the retreat must be cancelled by the host (Melissa Lindsay / Holistic Grief Wellness), you will receive a full refund of any payments made. Please note that we are not responsible for any travel costs incurred.

Travel & Insurance

  • Travel to and from the retreat venue is not included. You are responsible for arranging your own transport.

  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, including illness, flight cancellations, or personal emergencies.

Health & Wellbeing

  • This retreat is a supportive and nurturing environment, but it is not a replacement for one-on-one therapy or medical care.

  • By attending, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and that you have disclosed any important health or mental health conditions in advance, so appropriate support can be considered.

  • If you are currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis, this retreat may not be suitable, and we encourage you to seek professional support first.

Retreat Environment

  • We ask all participants to respect the confidentiality, emotional safety, and shared vulnerability of the group.

  • Kindness, compassion, and non-judgment are essential to creating a safe and sacred space for all.
